Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") sets out the rules for using BDStudents (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms and Conditions. By using the Service, you agree to follow this Policy. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate it.

- Do not impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- Do not create accounts using false identities or on behalf of others without authorization.
2. Respect Other People
You may not post, share, or transmit content that:
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates any person.
- Promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristic.
- Is defamatory, abusive, obscene, or otherwise harmful.
- Shares another person's private or identifying information without their consent ("doxxing").

- Attempt to arrange private contact with a minor outside the Service for inappropriate purposes.
Violations of this section will result in immediate removal and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
4. Keep It Lawful
You may not use the Service to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Distribute spam, scams, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive offers.
- Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful code.
- Promote or facilitate illegal activity, including fraudulent visa, scholarship, or immigration schemes.
5. Do Not Misuse the Platform
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data about users except as expressly permitted.

6. Content Standards for Clubs and Chapters
If you manage a club or chapter, keep institutional and organizational information accurate and up to date, and ensure activity within your organization on the Service follows this Policy. Misuse of leadership roles may result in removal of those roles or the organization.
7. Reporting and Enforcement
If you see content or behavior that violates this Policy, report it through the Service or email legal@bdstudents.org.
We may review reported content, remove anything that violates this Policy or our Terms, and suspend or terminate accounts. We may act with or without notice depending on the severity of the violation. We may also preserve and disclose information where required by law or to protect users.
We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we reserve the right to do so.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
