Batangas State University

One of the new academic programs offered in the same year was the Doctor of Medicine degree under the College of Medicine at BatStateU-Pablo Borbon Campus. This program is being offered in accordance with Republic Act No. 11509, also known as the "Doktor Para sa Bayan Act," which aims to increase the number of medical doctors in the country by providing scholarships and other forms of financial assistance to students from underprivileged backgrounds.
