The University of Scholars is a private university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It began its journey in 2015 with a campus in Badda and started with five departments. The university was established with the vision of creating a modern, research-intensive institution for both Bangladeshi and international students. Its aim has been to produce skilled graduates, world-class researchers, and industry-ready professionals.

The university received official approval from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh on December 29, 2015, after an inspection held on August 2, 2015. It is listed as the 83rd university approved by the UGC in Bangladesh.

The first batch of students enrolled in 2016. The university celebrated the graduation of its first Master’s batch in 2018, followed by the graduation of its first undergraduate batch in 2020. In 2021, the university moved to its permanent campus at Kemal Ataturk Avenue, Banani, Dhaka.

With the motto “We Build Professionals,” the University of Scholars follows an American curriculum and places strong emphasis on technology-based teaching and learning. Over the years, it has developed academic programs in areas such as Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Textile Engineering, English, and Business Administration.

Today, the University of Scholars continues to grow as an institution focused on quality education, professional development, research, innovation, and industry collaboration. Its mission is to prepare competent, ethical, and technologically skilled graduates who can contribute to national and global development.
