We invite all members of our community to attend an important BSA Community Meeting:

This meeting will serve as our 3rd and final quorum regarding the proposed constitutional changes. Your participation is essential as we finalize decisions that will shape the next phase of BSA.
Leadership Expansion: 6 → 13 Positions
To better support our growing and active community, BSA leadership will expand from 6 to 13 clearly defined roles. This structure ensures stronger organization, clearer accountability, and more leadership opportunities.
Members are encouraged to nominate themselves for multiple roles. Any member, graduate or undergraduate, may run for positions not specifically designated.
Executive & Committee Roles
President: Oversees all BSA operations, ensures alignment with university policies, leads executive meetings, and represents BSA in official matters.
Vice President & Undergraduate Wing Lead: Supports the President, coordinates committees, and leads initiatives focused on undergraduate engagement and development.
Treasurer Lead (Graduate)
Manages finances, budgeting, reimbursement processes, and financial reporting, and ensures transparency in all financial matters.Funding Secretary (Undergraduate)
Identifies sponsorship opportunities, prepares funding proposals, builds partnerships, and supports fundraising efforts.Communications & Mentorship Lead (Graduate)
Handles official announcements, maintains departmental communication, and manages the BSA Mentorship Program.Outreach & Engagement Lead (Undergraduate)
Collaborates with student organizations, increases campus visibility, and drives community engagement initiatives.Cultural Lead (Graduate)
Organizes structured and traditional cultural programs with a focus on inclusivity and quality execution.Cultural Lead (Undergraduate)
Plans energetic and creative student-driven cultural events that bring fresh ideas and student participation.Social Media Lead
Manages BSA’s digital presence, creates promotional content, and ensures consistent online engagement.Men’s Sports Lead
Organizes men’s sports activities such as cricket, football, and badminton, and coordinates tournaments.Women’s Sports Lead
Leads women’s sports initiatives, encourages participation, and organizes leagues or competitions.Logistics & Operations Lead
Handles reservations, supplies, scheduling, and ensures smooth execution of all BSA events.Club Registration & Documentation Lead
Maintains official records, oversees constitutional updates, manages club registration, and ensures compliance with university requirements.
Removal of the 1-Year Requirement
To promote inclusivity and equal opportunity, the previous 1-year membership requirement will be removed.
Anyone can run for a BSA leadership position, even if this is their first semester.
New Undergraduate Wing Launched
We are pleased to introduce the BSA Undergraduate Wing, created to officially:
Increase undergraduate involvement
Provide structured leadership pathways
Strengthen peer connections and long-term continuity
Election Committee Update
Only graduating or final-year students may serve as the Election Committee Lead, appointed by the Club Advisor.
The new Election Committee will be announced during this meeting.
BSA Night & Election
We will also discuss plans for the upcoming BSA Night, where:
The Election will be held on the same night
Both the celebration and leadership transition will be integrated into one unified event
