☕️ চা আড্ডা -- Spring 2026 Cha Adda Series
This Spring semester, the Bangladeshi Students Association (BSA) at the University of Arizona successfully hosted our Cha Adda series at the Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) Building, Room 234, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM — and the energy has been amazing.
So far, we have completed three Cha Adda sessions this semester.
📅 January 30, 2026 – Semester Kickoff
Our first Cha Adda of the semester was all about reconnecting and welcoming everyone back.
Casual conversations and catching up
A competitive round of 29 (card game)
Cha, biscuits, and our special addition — Jhal Muri, which quickly became everyone’s favorite
It was the perfect way to start Spring 2026.
📅 February 6, 2026 – Big Turnout & Poker Night
Our second Cha Adda saw a strong turnout, especially from undergraduate students. The room was full, the energy was high, and the competition got serious.
Friendly poker games
More Jhal Muri (still undefeated as the top snack)
Grad and undergrad students bonding over tea and cards
It truly felt like a growing community.
🌼 3rd Cha Adda – 1st Falgun Celebration
Our third Cha Adda turned into a beautiful 1st Falgun celebration, blending culture, tradition, and community spirit. It was more than just tea and games — it was a reminder of home and heritage, celebrated together.
Cha Adda is not just about tea. It’s about connection, culture, and consistency. Every Friday gathering strengthens our BSA community.
Thank you to everyone who joined, brought snacks, played games, and made the evenings memorable. More to come this semester. ☕✨
